Weird Things with MindManager

I have a list of things I don't like about MindManager, yes its' true. MindManager is by no means perfect. One of the things I was going to complain about is the handling of images.

When I inserted an image into MindManager it would always look blurry. It's hard to explain and I am unable to reproduce it now which is the weird thing. I reinstalled it yesterday after the program was continually eating up my CPU (over 50% even when minimized) and had forgotten all about adding images to my MindManager Maps. Since they were blurry I just started using links and had them open up in a new window. Today I opened up one of my previous maps that had an image inserted in it. I didn't like the size of it so I reset the image size. And boom it was clear! It wasn't crystal clear like when I open up the image alone, but none the less the text was actually readable now! I even was able to resize the picture without losing much quality!

I previously had tried this on two different computers and got blurry images on both. Maybe I will go back to the second computer and see if I can get it to reproduce that error but for now my Tablet is displaying pictures much better. Weird!

a question on the CPU comment -
uninstalling and re-installing seemed to help?
MM, especially the recent patch, really eats up my CPU.

It was no longer taking up 50% when just sitting there. If I am working on the map that is a totally different story. My maps can get pretty big and my laptop has adaptive cpu settings so the exact % may not be entirely correct but it does still likes to be a cpu hog when I work with the program. When minimized the program still likes to jump around 2-8% for whatever reason.

As far as the patch goes I did not download any patch but I did just recieve the program a few weeks ago maybe I already all the updates.

I should also mention that on battery in order to really save on power my tablet turns down the cpu settings. On max battery it cranks it down to 600 MHz from the normal 1.5 GHz so the % that MindManager takes up in class is really up there. I plan on posting about that experience tomorrow so stay tuned!
