Reaquainting myself with MindManager

As most of my colleagues know, I have begun my quest for an MBA. I started classes at Oakland University in early September and find myself often having to strictly manage my time and efforts while attending classes in the evenings and addressing the challenges I still encounter at Enterprise during the day. Therefore with my core set of business classes I have migrated back towards the use of MindManager.

I found that as a biology student MindManager was a great tool to collect thoughts, data, and sketches but as an MBA student outlining processes and developing systems to use as managers MindManager becomes an even more critical tool to organize my ideas. I hope to uncover some time to once again share these uses in hopes that students may find this tool to be as helpful as I have!

On another note I would also like to point out that Mindjet has also released a suitable app for the iPhone. I have dabbled with it slightly but it has not found its way into my everyday routine quite yet. As I regain my confidence with MindManager though I am confident I will soon be browsing through many maps on my phone while on the road with my iPhone.

Microsoft "Courier" secret tablet

I somehow stumbled accross this video while playing around on my iPhone today at work. I don't know if it is a demo for an actual product or just a concept. The integration is amazing though and although I wonder if such a device would indeed be useful I can tell you I would consider buying one!

Is the Tablet Revolution Comming?

I've been using my Tablet PC for the past four years now and and despite my efforst to promote and sell them it appears the Tablet PC platform has remained in just the niche markets usually being the education and medical field. Some proclaim 2010 will be the year of the tablet especcially with this flurry of excitment surrounding these new netbooks which still begs the question...when did netbooks get big?

For the time being though CNET still believes Tablets have a ways to go before everybody is rushing to their local best buy to relinquish their wallets to yet another device when most of us already have our phones and current laptops. Check out the article for yourself.
