My First Article on eBooks!
I really wanted to go all out on this article to provide a complete overview of eBooks for students since there is still a lot of unanswered questions about them. However the semester has started so I decided to post what I had and hopefully you can get an idea of my desire to work with eBooks over this semester. As I write about in the article I will be experimenting with two eBooks from two different companies that come in two different formats. I will post experiences with these eBooks over the course of the semester in my blog but for now take a glace at my first article on ebooks for students!
A Semester with OneNote
What good would a Tablet PC be without any software applications that could take advantage of it? Microsoft’s OneNote is one of these programs that greatly benefits from the use of a tablet. What most people don’t know is that OneNote, which is a part of the Office line up, is not restricted to tablet users only. In fact, I was fascinated with the OneNote application as soon as I heard about it. I always liked to come home and type my notes and doing so in Microsoft Word just never really made sense. It required opening up each individual file to view them and formatting them just the way I liked was often difficult. When OneNote was released it solved both of these problems for me. I used OneNote for an entire semester on a desktop computer at home. It provided an easy way for me to organize and keep track of my class notes. What is a Tablet?
This is the first of a series of articles I plan to write whose purpose will be to educate those new to the Tablet PC scene. Articles will address such issues as the differences between a convertible and slate model tablet, how do you enter information on a Tablet PC and other general articles outlining the use of Tablet PCs.
